Born to a Malaysian Chinese mother and a British father, I grew up questioning many things. One of which was my identity, and where I belonged as a biracial individual in the world. Struggling to feel understood, I turned to writing to find solace. Writing led me to novels, and novels led me to films, which opened my eyes to the art of visual storytelling.

Since then, I've made it my personal mission to tell stories of people under-represented in the media. With a degree in English & Creative Writing under my belt, I achieve this through short stories, scripts and feature articles.

I believe everyone, no matter who they are, has a story worth telling, which is why sometimes you'll find me with a notebook eavesdropping on people's conversations. Or speaking to strangers because I'm kaypo*.

As a child who felt lost and unseen, I found myself in characters on a screen. So this is me trying to return the favour.
